Position Overview:
We are seeking a Digital Marketing Channel Manager to join our high-performing Search Engine Marketing (SEM) team. This role will be pivotal in growing our social program, with a strong focus on increasing Facebook activity as well as establishing and expanding our presence to Reddit & YouTube as a top priority. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in social media strategy and execution and a desire to gain exposure to SEO and PPC channels. This position offers a unique opportunity for a skilled and autonomous professional to develop deeper expertise in digital marketing while directly impacting the success of our SEM and social initiatives.
Core Mission:
Grow revenue from social media platforms, to $100k+/brand, for 1 brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy and Growth:
- Lead the expansion of our social media program, with Reddit and YouTube as the primary focus.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow channel engagement, drive traffic, and support brand visibility.
- Collaborate with team leads to align social content with SEO and PPC strategies.
Content Planning and Execution:
- Build and maintain content calendars to ensure a consistent posting schedule.
- Work with cross-functional teams to create, source, and manage high-quality social content.
- Develop and maintain processes for content creation, posting, and engagement.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Track and report on social media performance, providing actionable insights to guide strategy.
- Analyze and interpret cross-channel data to identify growth opportunities.
Collaboration and Learning:
- Work closely with the SEM team, including team leads and managers, to integrate social strategies with broader SEM initiatives.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning new skills and expanding knowledge across SEO and PPC.
SEO and PPC Support:
- Assist in campaign setup and execution for SEO and PPC channels as part of professional development.
- Gain experience analyzing data and drawing actionable insights to support channel growth.
- Collaborate with channel leads and managers to optimize campaigns and maximize ROI.
Job requirements
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in social media marketing, with a strong focus on YouTube.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing principles, with a willingness to learn SEO and PPC.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously while maintaining alignment with team objectives.
- Passion for continuous learning and professional growth.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with tools like Google Analytics, YouTube Studio, or other social media management platforms.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and PPC platforms like Google Ads or Microsoft Ads.
- Basic knowledge of content management systems and marketing calendars.
Reporting Structure:
This role reports directly to the Sr. Manager, SEM and will collaborate closely with team leads for PPC and SEO, as well as other specialists and cross-team stakeholders across verticals.
Day-to-Day:
- Schedule and post content across Facebook, Reddit and YouTube, ensuring alignment with content calendars and campaign objectives.
- Plan and strategize future content, collaborating with SEO and PPC teams to align messaging and optimize cross-channel efforts.
- Analyze social media performance metrics, such as engagement rates and traffic contributions, to uncover growth opportunities and refine strategies.
- Manage social media projects, including content initiatives and pilot programs, to support ongoing growth objectives.
- Engage with online communities to foster brand awareness and build relationships with key audiences.
